My understanding is that the field of power is infectious. Once you are it, it
potentiates others access to it. But I understand from Dr Hawkins that this is only a potentiality, and that an actual leap in consciousness only occurs when the conditions are in place for it.
Where I get caught here is with seeing social and economic conditions
supporting power.
Obviously a person stuck in poverty, or in jail, or homeless may experience a
breakthrough in consciousness. But it seems more likely to me that a
psychiatrist, a scholar, or a spiritual healer will experience such a breakthough in consciousness, because they have more of the supporting conditions for such a state to go from potential to actual.
Hawkins teaches surrender, humility, avoiding falsehood and adopting truth. But he also teaches (in 'Eye') that in practice many people cannot afford the seeming high price of integrity, despite paying lip service to "honesty" and "transparency".
One could extrapolate from this that appearence of power coincides with specific economic conditions that potentiate it, giving the freedom and leisure to pursue spirituality; and the appearence of new social classes that calibrate higher than previous generations propagates and reinforces such a pursuit in specific social areas, such as those around the West coast of the United States.
Following Jesus' time in Western Eurasia a monastic class who I calibrate in the 500s appeared. The conditions for this to occur were the social and economic vacuum of the fall of the Roman Empire, which created the demand for the socially useful and economically valuable role of caring and compassionate monks. I see that the appearence occured as
part of the field effect of Lord Jesus, acting on history through long term
power rather than through force.
Likewise, the appearence of the Chinese bureaucracy in China after Confucius, and the appearence of the world's first middle class in India after Buddha due to the enterprise of Buddhist merchants, my perception is that the appearence of an avatar precedes the appearence of specific social and economic conditions which allow for numbers of higher-calibrating people to be sustained by society.
One may expect, if this perception is accurate (and I have no way of knowing if it is or not)that the appearence of Dr Hawkins at present with his high calibration will trigger alterations in the world's social system towards conditions that allow for the emergence of a social class of enlightened people whose main members calibrate over 600 in LoC.
Any thoughts, comments?
